Former Melbourne Storm player Billy Slater (one of Tim’s all time RFL heroes),has a new career commentating for Channel 9 on horseback!
Absolutely ecstatic that 2 of my horses placed in the Melbourne Cup and that the first place jockey was a woman who completed another sporting first. Finally my theory that the horse that has travelled the shortest distance to a race has the best chance has worked 😃
What a great way to spend our last day in Melbourne at one of it’s most prestigious sporting events (even if we did spend hours queuing for drinks, food and cash to bet with).
