First stop today Pellegrini’s coffee bar for a cappuccino and to soak up the atmosphere of this retro 60s Italian coffee house. Also Tim needed to look in the mirror 😀
A mix of old and brand new buildings in the city, including the old gaol.
I liked the art deco feel of the one with the radio mast.
Apparently we’re going to walk the sky bridge in this one 🤯
Stopped for a drink and to watch the incredible international dancers in Federation Square.
Crossed the Yarra River and into the botanical gardens.

We loved the name of this tree the Bunya Bunya Pine and that it was planted by the wife of Commodore Goodenough 😃
Such a tranquil place, despite there being hundreds of people there, even Mum let her babies out for a walk, so cute fluffy little… (I think swans but maybe geese?)
The roots of this tree are in the plastic tube next to it, they go down into the damper soil next to a stream below.Fascinating.
Another Mum and baby look at the feet.
Tim liked the name of these Mum,
Next stop Shrine of Remembrance
Then back via the south wharf which was buzzing with life and Oasis fans.
Needed a well deserved rest after almost 25,000 steps for a drink and to watch the sun reflecting on the skyline as it set for the day. Just gorgeous!
