Took a break from the city and got the train to Katoomba (we’re finding travelling around on public transport really cheap and easy). Stayed over for the night at Lilianfels resort - very posh!
Had a lovely meal that included the famed finger limes!
The Blue Mountains are shrouded in a blue haze which is created by minute droplets of eucalyptus oil from the trees in the valley below coming into contact with scattered rays of light. Tim took fotty seven hundred photos and we went on this cable car across the valley which wasn’t as scary as Dawn thought it would be. We also walked along the Prince Henry Cliff walk to Katoomba cascading waterfalls with Dawn on snake watch all the way. Definitely had pants of bravery on for that especially when a leaf dropped on her head 😀
It was quite chilly at times too!
We loved the Blue Mountains!
