NRL prep and more climbing!

Started off today stopping by the NRL fan zone in the harbour to buy some merch for Sunday’s big dance as they call the grand final here. Got to see the women’s teams too, definitely don’t fancy tackling them! Tim was interviewed by ABC Radio live, they were thrilled to hear he’d come all the way from Yorkshire just to see Melbourne Storm lift the trophy but just in case they don’t we had a quick pic with it 🤞

Next we went back to Donna’s favourite tea shop where Doz sorted out their knitting for them and Tim chatted to a fellow rugby league fan from NZ.

Afterwards we climbed the Harbour Bridge lookout and got some great views of the whole city as well as learning all about how the great arch was engineered into place. Dawn put on her pants of bravery again and has now done a bridge climb! Tim bought some more merch to prove he’s done the full bridge climb including getting a certificate which is usually given to kids but it’s got some colouring on the back so he should be all right if he gets bored on the flight to Cairns on Monday 😂

Had a wine in Sydney’s version of The Shepherds Arms (definitely a local full of blokes yarning and having a lunchtime schooner). Fab place!

It’s been another beautiful day in Sydney, finished off with food and wine at one of our favourite eateries, The Whalebridge.
