Bondi Beach via Watson’s Bay

 

We decided to go back to Watson’s Bay today to make sure we were right about the chowder. We were. 

Definitely our kind of place.

Two very different images of Aussie life, trees with enormous roots and a quick sign to warn folk to avoid the stingray!

After our long lunch (there may have been wine involved) we took the bus to Bondi Beach.

We took a stroll on the promenade at Bondi and watched the surfers navigate the crashing waves, some very successfully, some less so 😀

Dawn discovered a shop called Tommy Bahama which may result in an overspend 😜

The Iceberg Club has a fabulous outdoor pool where the waves crash over the walls onto the swimmers. Bit too chilly for us today,
